The Berwick Bridge Club has closed for the Summer, although now Summer Bridge is available, with the U3A, every Wednesday evening at King James Court, West Street, from 7 p.m. to approx. 10 p.m. until the end of August. .

Brian Thomas and George Martin won the Borders Pairs Championship on Sunday, 8th March at Galashiels. They have also won the Club Championship..

The team of Malcolm Copley, Reg Drysdale, Brian Thomas, and George Martin have won the Club Teams Champiuonship. .

Trish Frew and Roger Smith were the best placed Berwick Pair in the Congress on the 3rd May, in 4th place out of 60 Pairs. .

The Berwick-upon-Tweed Bridge Club is situated in The Parish Church Meeting Room, Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed. During September through to May the club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional nights for one off competitions, starting at 7.30 p.m. prompt. During these months The Eastern District holds League and Knock-out competitions, for which Berwick has an 'A' team and a 'C' team. Regular competitions occur on Tuesdays, and Thursdays (when all the competitions are handicapped). Individuals are also welcome, but must phone our partnership secretary, Marguerite Robson (01289 307164), who will find a partner.
